The Southeast Seattle Schools Fundraising Alliance (SESSFA) is hosting two holiday FUNdraisers to benefit Beacon Hill International School and all 17 participating southeast Seattle public elementary, K-8, and middle schools! See details below on how to support Beacon Hill International School and other neighborhood schools this season by ice skating at the Bellevue Downtown Ice Rink and shopping at the Families Crafting Change Holiday Market.
Shop for Southeast Seattle Schools: November 25th-27th
When you shop at the second annual Families Crafting Change Holiday Market, 10% of sales will benefit SESSFA schools! Families Crafting Change is a local holiday market organized by south Seattle parents and community members.
Families Crafting Change offers two ways to shop: online* on Facebook Friday, November 25th and Saturday, November 26th and in person on Sunday, November 27th from 10:00am to 3:00pm at Hawthorne Elementary: 4100 39th Ave S Seattle, WA 98118. The in-person event at Hawthorne will be family-friendly with games and activities available for kids!
*Purchases made online via Facebook will need to be picked up by buyers at the in-person Families Crafting Change Holiday Market on Sunday, November 27th.
Ice Skate for Southeast Seattle Schools: November 18th to January 8th
From November 18th to January 8th the Bellevue Downtown Ice Rink will donate $3 to SESSFA for every paying visitor who notifies rink staff upon arrival that they’re affiliated with Beacon Hill International School in Seattle. After the close of the fundraiser on January 8th, $3 from all paid visits from all 17 participating schools will be totaled and sent to SESSFA!
Please note: the Bellevue Downtown Ice Rink isn’t able to track the fundraising tally through the e-ticketing reservation platform, but will update the tally when visitors mention Beacon Hill International Schoolduring arrival for e-ticketed reservations.
