Joining as a PTA member is a way to show your support of BHIS and the work of our teachers. Members receive regular updates with opportunities for involvement, along with a slate of benefits through the Washington State PTA that can be found here.

Become a Committee Lead or Chair Volunteer

It takes all of us to keep things running! The PTA has a role for everyone to share their skillsets and talents. Roles are open to all parents, caregivers, grandparents, or other community members at BHIS! All that’s required is completing a background check. Let us know you’re interested in any of these roles here!

Volunteer

Volunteering is a great way to get involved with the PTA and the BHIS community. The school offers opportunities year-round to volunteer in the school, classroom, and on field trips.

On-Call Helper

On-Call Helpers are folks who are interested in helping out, but can’t commit to larger roles, committees, or to things too far in advance.
