School Supplies Drive
Every year the Beacon Hill PTA supports our school by raising the funds needed to purchase back-to-school supply items (markers, pens, paper, tissues, hand sanitizer etc) in bulk.
Family Councils
The PTA supports three Family Councils, which serve as affinity groups for families looking to connect with each other.
Read-a-Thon
BHIS hosts an annual day full of reading, laughter, and community. It’s a special opportunity for kids and their families, caregivers, staff, and friends to come together and share a love of stories.
This event is one of our annual fundraisers.
BHIS uses WhatsApp to send out school-wide announcements, connect families in grades and affinity groups, and encourage interschool communication.

School Based Health Center
At Odessa Brown’s School Based Health Center, your child can receive preventative care from a licensed Nurse-Practitioner, as well as mental health services from their licensed mental health therapist.
